Renowned for providing the discerning traveller with an unmatched hotel experience, The Oberoi Group is now venturing into the home space with the launch of the first-of-their-kind Trident Residences in New Delhi. Strategically located in the centre of the city, three visually arresting towers comprise 19 swanky apartments that overlook the iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and offer panoramic vistas of the capital’s skyline. The interiors have been designed by the New Delhi-based firm Architecture Discipline and the beautifully landscaped pockets and inviting rooftop that adorn the complex have been brought to life by BI Design.
Unique architecture
Located near The Oberoi, New Delhi, the tastefully designed Trident Residences is an oasis of calm. The three towers are raised on V-shaped columns rendered in antique brass. This architectural innovation results in a largely porous structure with a one-of-a-kind visual identity and reduced structural footprint. The modern facade of the towers has been constructed using concrete and glass and features glass louvre frames that help maintain privacy. The handrails in antique brass are a nod to the Trident Hotels’ legacy of luxury.
Exquisite interiors
Upon arrival, visitors are greeted by a drop-off area and a lobby with elegant details in faceted glass and antique brass. The ground floor also houses a lounge, gym, recreation space and meeting room. The lobby opens into well-lit corridors and circulation cores that guide users to their homes. The living areas and bedrooms connect to balconies with large glazed openings that invite plenty of sunlight and protect the apartments from external noise and extreme weather conditions. Triangular glass bay windows in the living and master bedroom allow residents to soak in the spectacular views outside.
Aesthetically pleasing and practical
The three and four-bedroom homes designed by Akshat Bhatt of Architecture Discipline range from 3,600 square feet to 9,300 square feet and exhibit contemporary, muted interiors that allow personalisation. The core feature of the apartments is an open living and dining area—ideal for hosting get-togethers. Clean lines and a subdued colour palette define these apartments, which are inviting and practical. The bedrooms are simple yet elegant: the primary bedroom follows a similar design aesthetic as the rest of the home, and the main bedroom includes a walk-in closet and a master bathroom.
One with nature
Trident Residences offers residents a unique indoor-outdoor living experience. With multiple pockets of green areas, the property is a great example of biophilic design. Verdant walkways, timber decks and well-landscaped vertical gardens are seamlessly woven into the common areas. The complex also comprises a multipurpose rooftop with chic cabanas, a pool, plants, movie screens and barbecue facilities.
Resident privileges
The property offers more than just picture-perfect apartments. Additional facilities at Trident Residences include a concierge, lobby manager, meeting rooms, fitness centre, 24-hour security, centralised maintenance and more. Residents can also access the business centre, salon services and dry cleaning at The Oberoi, New Delhi, delivery from The Oberoi Patisserie & Delicatessen, and priority reservations at The Oberoi, New Delhi’s eateries and bars. Apartment owners can enjoy the perks of having a Trident Privilege Membership, special offers at Trident Hotels’ food and beverage outlets and in-residence dining. The property’s lavish interiors, on-site amenities, opulent apartments and thoughtful service introduce a new level of luxury.
Trident Residences will be available for purchase this summer, and the show residence is now available to view.
